A funny thing happened to me as I prepared to take photographs of a Peak District sunset. I meet Hasidic jews, paragliders, airhostesses and the mountain rescue.

The tree is very much the iconic, lone tree that grows on the shores of Llyn Padarn near Llanberis in Snowdonia

Misty mornings add something special to a landscape and woodland photographers always have many misty shots in there collections.

I’m very pleased with this picture. So much so that I am going to enter it for the 2022 Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition.
