I’ve no idea why it’s called Deadman’s Car Park, but it seems rather a somber name for a place where one of nature’s finest shows was unfolding. As I waited, the last of the other cars was just leaving. In hindsight, I should have told the family—an Asian couple and their small boy—that they were about to have an exceptional experience. I was only ninety percent sure at the time, but I could have been wrong. Oh boy, I wasn’t disappointed!
